I did this by handwashing my clothes: long johns, shirts, socks and underwear. If I could go 14 days without having to do laundry while traveling, could I go a whole month without doing laundry. This Saturday, I started in earnest and am on Day 3 of doing no laundry and just handwashing.<\/p>\n<p>Why handwash?<\/p>\n<p>Laundry can be a negative suck on time and energy. By handwashing items that can dry overnight, I am totally saving time. Instead of having that 2 hour block of time devoted to laundry each week, I can instead, put my clothes to wash in the sink with soap, take a shower, and then dry me and my clothes.<\/p>\n<p>Here is what I&#8217;ll be wearing this month:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.everlane.com\/collections\/mens-jackets\/products\/mens-merino-blazer-navy\">blazer<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.everlane.com\/\">Everlane<\/a> as well as a wool scarf.<\/li>\n<li>A jacket from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.american-giant.com\/\">American Giant<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Levi&#8217;s Jeans<\/li>\n<li>Smartwool socks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lots of gear from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exofficio.com\/\">ExOfficio<\/a> because this gear can hang dry from anywhere from 2 hours to 8 hours. This is perfect for travel.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.exofficio.com\/products\/details\/mens-reef-runner-long-sleeve-shirt\">Shirts<\/a> that dry over night,<\/li>\n<li>A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exofficio.com\/products\/details\/mens-kahve-thermal-hoody\">hoody<\/a> that I don&#8217;t know how long it takes to dry yet,<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.exofficio.com\/products\/details\/mens-give-n-go-boxer-brief\">underwear<\/a>,<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.exofficio.com\/products\/details\/mens-nomad-pant-f14\">pants that surprisingly dry over night<\/a>,<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.exofficio.com\/products\/details\/bugsaway-targa-sock\">socks with insect repellant<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On top of saving time, I&#8217;ll also be saving money.
